GS5, LLC is proud to announce that Team GS5, composed of 13 teammates with GS5 as prime contractor, received an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) 8(a) contract award valued at $157 million dollars to provide support to the Joint Improvised Explosive Device Defeat Organization (JIEDDO). The purpose of the DASS (Directed Analysis Support Services) contract is to to provide information into likely effects for the Counter-Improvised Explosive Device (C-IED) fight.  GS5 does this through researching and capturing Open Source information (OSINT) and providing a conduit to harvest the best thinking and innovations from leading industry and academic experts from the United States, its allies, and coalition partners.

The DASS contract is a five-year (2-year base plus three 1-year options), multiple-award, IDIQ contract.  This contract provides GS5 a prime opportunity to support the Warfighter and JIEDDO in their fight to eliminate the IED as a device of strategic influence.

[Note: JIEDDO was subsequently reorganized as JIDO, the Joint Improvised-threat Defeat Organization.  GS5 supports JIDO under this IDIQ through two task orders.]
